6S Management in Our Upgraded Reactor Workshop (Effective April 2026)
With the completion of our Reactor workshop upgrade in April 2026, we are officially implementing 6S Management to create a highly efficient, organized, safe, and clean production environment. 6S is not just a workplace organization method — it is a philosophy that enhances discipline, ensures quality, and reduces waste. The six core principles are as follows:
Seiri
Separate needed from unneeded items. Remove all unnecessary tools, materials, and clutter from the workshop. Every piece of equipment and every batch of raw material must have a valid reason to be present, eliminating wasted space.
Seiton
Arrange and label necessary items for easy access and return. From Reactor production lines to auxiliary tool areas, everything has a fixed home. Any item can be located and retrieved within 30 seconds, reducing search and waiting time.
Seiso
Thoroughly clean work areas of dust, grease, welding slag, and Reactor processing residue. Establish daily cleaning zones. A clean workshop not only improves surface quality of Reactors but also helps detect equipment loosening, leaks, and other potential issues early.
Seiketsu
Turn sorting, setting in order, and shining into standardized, documented procedures with visual checklists and daily maintenance routines. Regular audits and evaluations ensure 6S gains are sustained — the workshop remains as clean and efficient as the day it was upgraded.
Shitsuke
Build the habit of following standards across all team members — from correctly operating Reactor-making machinery to wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Through morning meetings, case studies, and skill training, 6S becomes muscle memory and professional instinct.
Safety
Integrate safety into every action — regularly inspect electrical systems, lifting equipment, and welding areas. Mark clear safety aisles and warning signs. An organized 6S environment is itself the first line of defense against accidents.
The Upgraded Reactor Workshop — A New Standard
Floors are clearly marked with lines. Tool carts are returned to designated spots. Work-in-progress and finished Reactors are separated into clearly defined zones. Every day ends with a 10-minute team self-check, and a joint walkthrough is conducted weekly. Our belief is simple: a workshop that is respected produces products that are respected. 6S is not a campaign — it is the foundation for consistently delivering high-quality Reactors.
